What will my child actually do?
Each week brings something different: games and challenges, creative work, group activities and conversations. Sessions are structured and planned, not a room with a football in it, and they are built so that a young person who finds one part hard still has something they can do well.
Over twelve weeks they build confidence, make friends, try things they have not tried before and find out what they are capable of.
More about Catch Them Young →Is it safe?
Everyone working with young people at Benzone is recruited safely, DBS-checked where the role requires it and trained in safeguarding. Sessions are staffed to a ratio set by the activity and the group, and venues are risk-assessed before we run anything in them.
Your child does not need to be confident, sporty, or know anybody there. Most arrive not knowing anyone.
How we keep young people safe →Register for Cohort 2
A few details so we can get back to you. This registers interest; it does not automatically confirm a place. We will contact you with availability and what happens next.
Are you the young person? You can tell us you are interested yourself , and we will take it from there with a parent or carer.
What happens after you register
- We read every registration and come back to you about availability.
- If there is a place, we send the information and consent forms you need before the first session.
- Your child comes along. You do not need to bring anything.
Rather ask first?
No question is too small, including whether this is right for your child.
