Why Benzone exists
Too often, support arrives after a problem has become a crisis. We believe there is another way.
We work upstream
There is usually a period before a difficulty becomes a crisis. A stretch of time where confidence can be built, relationships strengthened, creativity encouraged and people connected to something positive. That period is where we want to work.
We are not a crisis service, and we are not a replacement for statutory or specialist support. We complement them. When a young person needs more than we offer, our job is to recognise it and help them reach the right service.

How Benzone started
This is the part of the site that has to come from Benzone rather than from anyone else: what was seen happening locally, and what was missing. It goes here once written, and it will be about the community rather than about a founder.
