Cookies
A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. This page lists every one we use, what it does, and how long it lasts.
The short version
Three cookies are needed for the site to work at all. We set those without asking, because without them forms break and nobody could sign in.
There is nothing else. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, we run no pixels, and there is nothing here to opt out of.
Strictly necessary
These do not track you between websites and are not used to build a profile. They cannot be turned off without breaking the site.
| Name | What it does | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|
| benzone-development-foundation-cic-session | Keeps your place as you move between pages, and makes the admin sign-in work. | 120 minutes |
| XSRF-TOKEN | Protects our forms from being submitted by another website on your behalf. | Until you close your browser |
| benzone_cookie_consent | Remembers the answer you gave about analytics, so we stop asking. | 12 months |
Managing cookies in your browser
Every browser lets you see the cookies a site has set and delete them, usually under Privacy or Site settings. Clearing ours will also clear your answer above, so we will ask again next time.
What we do with personal information more generally is set out in our privacy policy.
